Reminders:

Before the weekend:

Optional: Contact all outside participants and make sure they are comfortable with the process and that they have all the information they need. (arrival times, dress code, what to expect in the workshop, etc).  They will have received an info sheets from Linda LaTores.

Contact Linda LaTores to schedule a date and time to meet with the inside team members.  Bring copies of the agenda and any additional materials that the inside team members may need and not have.

Arrange to pick up the box, certificates, and a pad of newsprint from the church office before the workshop.

Directions:  The West Concord Union Church is located 1317 Main Street in West Concord. This is on Route 62 just past the 99 on the left when heading East from Concord. Turn left at light and enter the church at the side door.  Bear right up the long stairway  to the second floor.  CPO office is on the right.  The church is usually open from 9AM to 2 PM weekdays. You can call the church office for directions or to check that the building is open at 978-369-6309. Contact Linda LaTores if you need to make other arrangements.

Materials:  You will need to take the following:

·         The box (on the floor  on the left under the shelves)

·         A pad of newsprint (on the floor on the left behind the AVP supply box)

·         Certificates (from a set of folders on the desk)

·        Advanced or TOT manuals, if needed (on the bookcase straight ahead as you enter the room)

On the weekend:

Arrive 20 minutes before the program to allow enough time to set up. Urge all outside participants to leave enough time to account for Friday evening traffic.

If you have any problem with clearances, or issues in entering the prison, you can ask to speak to the shift commander.  He should have Ellen Flaminio’s pager information and he can page her, if necessary.

When I can get a list of participants ahead of time, I will email it to you.  If not, the CO at the front desk should have a list in an envelope for you.

Please get a list of the names of all participants who received certificates for our records and include it with the evaluation.  This is essential so we can be sure all the men who finished the basic will be invited to the Advanced, etc.

Please be sure to turn in all the inmate’s evaluations and the attendance rosters to the CO to give to Ellen Flaminio.

After the weekend:

Return the box to the church.  Please make a note of any supply or handout issues.  If you live out of town and it is difficult to return the box, contact Linda LaTores to make alternative plans.

Please mail the evaluations  to CPO at address below.  Alternatively, if you prefer to work on line, you can e-mail the evaluations to Linda LaTores.
